Zed named Web Agency of the Year

Written by AdNation Editor, Tuesday, 22 June 2010

Robert MitchellZed Communications picked up six Golds, 18 Silvers and seven Bronze awards at Saturday's sixth Pan Arab Web Awards, as well as being named 2010 Web Agency of the Year and grabbing Microsoft's Best Website Built on Microsoft Technology Award for its work for Commercialbank in Qatar.

Commenting on the win, and the importance of digital media in the region, Zed's managing director, Robert Mitchell, says in the press release, "The figures for internet usage will be driven forward by wise new investments across the GCC in mobile broadband, where communication, entertainment and information converge. Our sons and daughters will grow to inhabit a region no longer powered by oil and gas, but fuelled by knowledge. And local companies like Zed are proud to be a part of that important transition."
