Turjuman brings PR Academy courses to UAE

Written by Eliot Beer, Tuesday, 22 December 2009

Kevin RuckHey, PR professionals: do you admit, in your dark little heart, your own utter inadequacy? Ever find yourself unable to even write a simple press release? Do you weep for the paltry nature of your PR skills?

Of course you do!

But never fear, help will soon be at hand, in the shape of a new partnership between Turjuman Media Consultancy and the UK-based PR Academy, aimed at offering PR courses in the Middle East to whip the region’s flacks into shape.

Turjuman has just signed a deal with the PR Academy to run training programmes – in English and Arabic – in collaboration, starting in January 2010.

“PR Academy is delighted to be working with TMC to develop high standards of professionalism in public relations training in UAE,” said Kevin Ruck, founder director of the PR Academy, in a press release.

Steady on there, Kevin – sounds like you’re getting a bit too excited.

Turjuman director Ahmed Odeh has been in the fine Scottish city of Stirling signing the agreement, so just as soon as he manages to escape from the growing drifts of snow that are slowly enveloping the British Isles, we’ll expect him to be hard at work, preparing for the new courses.
