Media gets Paris Fever

Written by Eliot Beer, Sunday, 21 June 2009

Paris Hilton, taking Dubai by stormWell, she’s here – and she won’t shut up.

Paris Hilton is in Dubai filming her ongoing search for a woman who can put up with her and be her new Best Friend Forever. In between takes, though, it seems La Hilton is raising something of a media storm.

Here at AdNation, always in search of a half-arsed gimmick we can run with for a short time until we get bored, we’ve decided to spare you, our dear readers, at least some of the pain of having to look through different news outlets for news of the Errant Heiress.

Thus we present: Meta Paris. Traa-laa.

The thoughtful Paris
What else but The National would take the serious route, and look at Paris’s aspirations to be a brand and a business-woman. In fairness, she may have a point. Read this if... you want to get an inkling of what’s going on inside that blonde head.

The comprehensive Paris
Gulf News dedicates a whole section to La Hilton, including background, interviews, pictures and the like. Read this if... you a) really, really like Paris, or b) if you’re really, really bored.

The pissed-off Paris
In contrast to Gulf News, Kipp Report has had enough – and says so in a lamentably short piece. Read this if... you want to snort in agreement, and then move on with your life.

The branding Paris
Emirates Business 24/7 talks to the star about her business and branding aspirations, possibly even in more specific detail than The National manages. We’d let you know if it was any good, but to be honest we zoned out around paragraph three. Read this if... you’re thinking of investing in the Other Hilton’s ventures.

The everything-else Paris
And if that’s still not enough, plough through this ready-made Google News search for yet more of the heiress’s adventures in Dubai. Read this if... you’re actually obsessed. Then get professional help.

Feel free to add your own finds in the comments below, if you really can be bothered.
